I am a credit card insider who has worked for some of the top 20 credit card issuers in the US. My goal with every purchase is to earn maximum possible rewards without overspending. My passion to maximize rewards earning aligns perfectly with my insider knowledge of credit cards.

Why this blog?

To maximize rewards, I depend on the promotional rewards offered by many credit card issuers. Promotional rewards include the quarterly bonus programs and other targeted rewards offers. I carry more than a dozen credit cards in my wallet. So it becomes difficult to remember which card is currently running these promotional rewards. Initially, I started writing these bonus categories on a small pocket-sized notebook, which was not very efficient. Later on, I started a notepad on my phone. This helps me inside a store to decide which card to use to pay for the purchase. But keeping the information on a blog makes even more sense. Now anyone can come to this blog and find out which card to pull out to pay for the purchase. This eliminates the searches like, “what is the 5% rewards category for Discover IT”.
