Chase Freedom: earn 5% cash back at wholesale clubs (Costco, BJs, Sams club) and on eligible streaming services, internet, phone, and cable purchases.
Maximizer Tips:
- If you have an HSA account: We recommend using Discover IT to pay for the prescriptions at Walgreens and CVS if you can afford to do that. Don’t use Discover IT card if you have an FSA account in this situation.
- If you have a Costco Visa from Citi and Chase Freedom Visa, our recommendation is to use the Chase Freedom visa for in-store and online purchases at Costco, but continue to use Costco Visa card to pay for the gas at Costco. It is easy to reach $1500 spend, so keep an eye on it. Once you reach $1500 spend, we recommend switching back to Costco Visa.
- If you have the Amazon Prime Visa card and Chase Freedom, we suggest using Chase Freedom at Whole Foods. You will earn the same rewards but Chase Freedom points are more flexible than Amazon points.
